La Rochelle 2007

Only one Show in July and we've been to La Rochelle, under judge Mme Marie-Claude CALATAYUD. She has judged quite quickly.

First in intermediate class :

1st Verascot Always Hopeful (Scarista Top Hat x Ch. Verascot Rich and Famous) to Christine HOVAGIMYAN
2nd Adorable Brousse du Moulin de Mac Gregor (Vieux Roger du Moulin de Mac Gregor x Tequila Sunrise du Moulin de Mac Gregor) to Terrance STEWART
3rd Arthur et Confiture of Nice Moon Story (Twist'n'Twist of Nice Moon Story x Roby du Coin Sauvage) to Agnès MOREAU

Then in open class Viking won ahead of

1st Viking du Moulin de Mac Gregor (Ch. Omaley du Moulin de Mac Gregor x Sans Probleme du Moulin de Mac Gregor) to Benoit LEBLANC.
2nd Twist'n'Twist of Nice Moon Story (Ch. Never Ending Story du Moulin de Mac Gregor x Ormone du Domaine du Bois Colin) to Agnès MOREAU
3rd Artemis'ter Scott du Pays des Lylows (Renzo du Harpouy d'Auzan Tweeny od Twenty Two du Pays des Lylows) to Claude et Annie DUPIN

For the CAC Viking was defeated by the son of a Crufts winner and a Top French Scot of the Year. The champion received no IB and no RIB either, so Viking won the RCACIB.

Let's talk now about the ladies !

Ania was 2nd in intermediate class :

2nd Anastacia du Loch d'Ergué (Viking du Moulin de Mac Gregor x Spirit of Clara du Moulin de Mac Gregor) to Benoit LEBLANC
3rd Allysse Pinck Lady du Pays des Lylows (Renzo du Harpouy d'Auzan x Phantasy du Harpouy d'Auzan) to Claude et Annie DUPIN

Clara then won her class :

1st Spirit of Clara du Moulin de Mac Gregor (Raspoutine de Montmayeur x Obession du Moulin de Mac Gregor) to Benoit LEBLANC
2nd Andy du Moulin de Mac Gregor (Raglan Royal Male x Unexpected Francine du Moulin de Mac Gregor) to Christelle LE ROUX

The only champion bitch presented Shaggy du Moulin de Mac Gregor (Ch. Pest in Show du Moulin de Mac Gregor x Ras Le Bol du Moulin de Mac Gregor) won the CACIB ahead of the Verascot bitch, so Clara just deserved the RCAC.

I was very disappointed because I hoped that almost one of Ania's parents could win a CACIB, but that was the choice of the judge.

The big surprise came from my westie bitch Buffy which won her first IB of her whole life at 7 years old !!!

She won ahead of :

2nd (in open class behind Buffy) Tutti Frutti du Moulin de Mac Gregor (Sauvé par le gong du Moulin de Mac Gregor) to Natacha LEROYER

Thanks to the judge for seeing Buffy's qualities !

Of course Candido (Touch of Class du Moulin de Mac Gregor to Julien MILLASSEAU) finished BOB with no surprise, so beautiful and so well groomed. This dog has been many years Top West of the Year in France. Buffy was BOS.
