Ballan-Miré 2007 ATE French Championship
On this cloudy and rainy WE of september, french (and some from abroad) Scottish Terriers lovers met à Ballan Miré, for the club championship.
We had the pleasure to show Buffy in veteran class to Veli-Pekka KUMPUMÄKI, West Highland White and Scottish Terriers breeder (Perhaps kennel). He found our bitch quite cute, but too fat and not in good coat condition enough ... So he gived her a VG. The second in her life (first time in youth class when I was a very beginning groomer and under a spanish judge ...), while she has always qualified EXC in championship under english judges. No comment ! Buffy wasn't in top condition, that's right, but in veteran class, does it mean something to do that ? ...

R'Buffy du Moulin de Mac Gregor
To end the day as it had begun, Buffy ended last one at the BIS veteran competition !
Let's talk about Scots ! It was not a lot better, but just a little. What everybody has noted was the judge taste. Mrs JERNHAKE prefers dark and very sturdy dogs. Wheaten and too thin ones had no chance, exept special cases, we will talk about that then. So Viking was not selected, but just EXC. The open class was won by :
1st
: Ashenberry Sparks Fly to Champernoune (Berrybreeze Illumination x Tickled
Pink in Paris de Champernoune) to Katarina ROUND
2nd : Ulk du Moulin de Mac Gregor (Old Roger Rough du Moulin de Mac Gregor x
Odamet du Moulin de Mac Gregor) to Solange LOGET
3rd : Gaterin Valentino (Dundee Regal Tribute at Gaterin x Scarista Nefertiti
at Gaterin) to Maureen TYZACK
4th : Ty Chas Skot Arobase.bzh (Dundee Obliging Walker x Rhapsody du Beffroi
Mac Dermotte) to Adeline DAGUENANT (congratulations !!!)

So know compare the four first dogs and find the intruder.
Mrs Round's dog won against intermediate and working class for the CACS and Mrs Loget's dog won the RCACS.
About the bitches, in intermediate class, Ania has been EXC, selected between the 6 best bitches, but wasn't classed. The four classed were :
1st
: Scotline ginger Snap for Gaterin (Feregait Ignacious Bean x Scarista Ballerina
at Scotline) to Maureen TYZACK
2nd : A Material Girl de Champernoune (Pacific Titan de Champernoune x Vendange
Tardive de Champernoune) to Katarina ROUND and Mrs ERRATXOU

In open class, Clara was my only chance to have a dog like the judge likes, but she has been only selected and not classed, just like her daughter ! These are the happy winners :
1st
: Aucun Problème du Moulin de Mac Gregor (Uncle Ben du Moulin de Mac
Gregor x O'Cun Problem du Moulin de Mac Gregor) to Ruth O'CONNOR
2nd : Penjetta Unlimited Edition at Champernoune (Mayson Limited Edition x Lucia's
Dream Stir Me Up) to Katarina ROUND
3rd : Ulpia du Moulin de Mac Gregor (Old Roger Rough du Moulin de Mac Gregor

In the ring
In open bitch too, find the intruders ! That's like a game, but for me dog shows are not a game, it's a passion, and when objectivity lets subectivity winning, that is not fair.
Ruth's bitch won the CACS and for the RCACS, the judge chose the intermediate class winner to Maureen TYZACK.
For BOB, the judge chose Aucun Problème du Moulin de Mac Gregor, and that bitch is not black, neither dark brindle, but a strong, little, wheaten bitch ! No comment ...
